Rest In Peace: General Colin L. Powell, former U.S. Secretary of State and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff passed away this today due to complications from COVID-19. A combination of cancer and Covid got him. Despite a major misjudgment on Iraq, I had great admiration for him. He and I left the Republican Party at the same time for the same reason. It’s still my hope that our former Party can be reborn as a principled Conservative option for voters to consider.
