I believe they try to put teams in regionals that are close to home, in early projections I saw KU in Arkansas quite a bit. But, where we currently sit in rankings may make Arkansas a stretch. While I like the idea of traveling to watch the games, I don’t know if that is our best match up.
With our home run hitting prowess I think shorter fences might be to our advantage. I wouldn’t mind UCLA or Oregon, both sub 400 to center.
Auburn has a short fence, but not sure I want to play Auburn, Tennessee as well.
For those that follow college baseball closer than I, what regional should we be hoping for, what is our best matchup with one seeds in our range?
