I'm a big believer in winning in the trenches, without controlling the LOS it is really, really hard to win football games.

DL- 5/year, with our history at the DT position I think we need to be bringing in at least 5 every year, 2 true DT's 2 de's with a focus on pass rushers and a guy that plays DE in HS that may not have the quickness for it at the college level that may grow into a DT.

LB- 2 per year, looking for guys that have the body type to put on weight and move to DE

DB- 6 per year. Two guys you're sure will stick at corner, two you think may grow into safeties, and two safeties with the body to put on weight and move to LB.

Offense
QB-1 per year. QB is the most important position in college by far, we've got to keep bringing guys in every year no matter what our QB situation is

OL- 4/year. I like how they're recruiting this position now, find the best tackle prospects you can and move them inside if you have to

TE/HB- not sure how much we plan on utilizing TE's but I think you need one a year for GL situations

WR- 3/year- I want to see them focus on speed, speed makes everything harder to defend.

That leaves 3 spots for taking the best athletes you can find or for taking a few JUCO's for immediate needs.

Everyone on here gives ESU a hard time about position switches but teams like TCU made an absolute killing doing this on the defensive side of the ball the last fifteen years. Recruit a corner that's half a step slow and move him to safety, safety that gets too big, move him to LB and right down the line.

How would you guys distribute the numbers?
