In an era where recruiting is faster than it has even been, it is kind of interesting looking at how many commits teams around the Big 12 have. As of this moment, here are the number of commits each school has for the 2016 class:
Baylor - 8
Iowa State - 0
Kansas - 4
Kansas State - 2
Oklahoma - 4
Oklahoma State - 6
TCU - 8
Texas - 4
Texas Tech - 8
West Virginia - 8
So a couple of interesting things, that makes us the only Power 5 conference that doesn't have one school with at least ten commits yet.
Iowa State is one of two Power 5 teams (Colorado being the other) that doesn't have a commit yet. KU was in a similar spot last year being the second to last Power 5 school to get it's first commit last year (Minnesota was the last).
It seemed just like yesterday that Texas would offer kids on their junior day and would get 10+ commits within a day in February, much different approach by Charlie Strong.
Surprised OU's numbers not that high either.
Things can change quickly, especially this time of the year - just two weeks ago Tech had half as many commits as they do today
