C.J. Simon- WR, Moore, Okla. - CJ Simon has been on campus before and the wide receiver for Moore has been getting a lot of college interest. He already holds offers from KU, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech.
He had a chance to be back around the staff and likes the energy he feels on his visits to KU.
"It was good every time I go down there everyone always has a positive energy," Simon said. "We talk a lot about how I can be used in different positions and how school been going."
Logan Christensen- S, Jserra Catholic, Calif- There were several players in the 2025 class who hold an offer from Kansas that were in attendance. Nobody traveled further than he did coming from California.
He has offers from KU, Boston College and BYU.
"Being at the game was a great experience," Christensen said. "The game atmosphere was super nice the energy was high and the fans were loud. The coaches were awesome and very knowledgeable and they ran the weekend really well."
Brodrick Malone- WR, Atascocita, Tex.- Another wide receiver with division one offers was in attendance. Malone has earned offers from SMU, UTSA and Texas State.
He's a tall target at 6-foot-4 and told me he was looking forward to his visit. He text me at 8:00 a.m. on game day to let me know he was on campus. He did not pick an offer but WR coach Terry Samuel is paying close attention to him.
"I like everything that was going on and from the coaches I liked the honesty they had and how they were telling what I needed to do to get ready to play on that level," Malone said.
He liked the energy from the crowd.
"From the team I loved the energy from the game it made me want to put on a uniform and be a part of it," he said. "The fans got me hyped because I’m not the type of person to cheer but they got me out my comfort zone and I had fun."
