I had a chance to get thoughts from Mike Boganowski on his family's visit to Lawrence. He liked everything they saw from the pregame to the flyover.
"We always enjoy visiting Lawrence," Boganowski said. "Coach Leipold and his staff do a excellent job. They really pay attention to detail. First class all the way. The new facilities look great. The game day atmosphere was impressive and the tailgating looked amazing. There were a lot of great fan interactions too. The fly over was on point."
Boganowski, who played football at New Mexico State, has been on several visits with his son. He liked what he saw on the field from the Jayhawks and the big play Cobee Bryant turned in.
"Lastly, I saw some impressive things on the field, especially the big hit by Cobee Bryant and the scope and score," he said. "That was the play of the day across college football."

On Sunday had a chance to catch up with several recruits who went to the BYU game. Will post some other updates later today.
Brock Heath- OL- Blue Valley Northwest
Heath has three brothers who played D1 football including Tyler Lawrence from SM West who signed when Mark Mangino was the head coach. Heath said his dad attended games when the stadium was packed consistently.
"My dad always says when Tyler it was like having that town revolve around football and that's what it feel like again," Heath said. "It is a special thing. So it was cool to see."
Heath got an offer from the Jayhawks before kickoff when he talked with Leipold. I have a lot more coming from Heath.
Andrew Babalola- OL- BV Northwest
Babalola has several offers and has been to KU multiple times including summer camp and the Junior Day BBQ. I expect him to make other visits to KU and Heath told me they will some visits together.
"I had a really good experience at KU," he said. "Talking to all the coaches and seeing the atmosphere was a lot of fun. I’ll definitely be back soon."
Charlie Woleben- DE- De Soto
Woleben picked up an offer after a good showing in front of the coaches at camp. This was his third to KU since the summer.
"I enjoyed all of it," Woleben said. "The energy in the stadium was great and the fans are really excited about what is happening. The visit before the game was also great. I enjoyed seeing the Hawk Walk and hearing about the changes KU is working on."
Woleben said he got a lot of attention from the coaching staff.
"Nearly all the coaches talked with me and I really appreciated coach Leipold taking time to talk to me when we were on the field for pregame," he said. "KU is making me pay attention with both their play and their recruiting."
