It's Sunday morning following another KU loss on the road and the reality of a winless season is firmly setting in amongst a great deal of Jayhawk Nation.
Is it frustrating? Yes
Is it disappointing? Yes
Is it tough to find many positives during a string of losing? Yes
Have we become a laughingstock of college football? Yes
Will we have anything to celebrate this year? TBD but doesn't look promising.
Will the future be better? TBD
Can it honestly get much worse? Yes, we're facing some big time beat downs in Big 12 play.
My point being this...there is no right or wrong way for Jayhawk Nation to deal with this current situation. We're in the midst of a historically bad stretch of KU football that prompts a range a reactions and emotions from the fanbase, all of which can be justified based on the current State of the Program. There will continue to be negative discussion based on us being winless and the prospects of success in Big 12 play being slim, but there will also be those glass half full people that continue to look for any positives on a weekly basis and promote a better future. As of right now we really don't know the path Beaty and Co will take the program so any camp could be right or wrong. With that said, let's be respectful of all opinions expressed on the status of KU football and not eat our own here on the board.
