JK, I have a question regarding traffic volume, number of hits, visits ...... however you might refer to it (I'm old and not very technical) on this Memorial Stadium Slant Site at since the hiring of Coach Leipold this past Spring compared to a similar time period in 2020. I am guessing that Jayhawk Slant knows precisely how many hits they have experienced at any given time. That might be proprietary information that you don't want to divulge and if that's the case, perhaps you could just post it as a percentage increase. I would guess it would be reasonable to equate traffic volume on this site to increased interest in the activities of the football program. Is the AD and members of the Athletic Department aware of something like the increased volume on this site and the significance that may carry as a barometer relative to increased interest in the football program in general? Personally, I have been beaten down to the level of being a more casual fan of the football program in recent years but I know that during the coaching search and since the hiring of Coach Leipold I find myself visiting this site far more often than I have at perhaps any point since joining. I'm guessing there are many fans just like me. I feel he has been a terrific hire. He has already been responsible for bringing an energy to the program that has been missing for far too long and I have every confidence that he and his staff will continue to build this program back to a place of respectability in the coming years.
