I've got DB making the call for Cozart during the game week depth chart release with plans to play both.
I think DB knows Willis is the better QB and the ball will eventually be in Willis' hands for most of the season BUT DB like many (myself included) would love to see a kid with Cozart's athleticism behind center. He's so damn tempting.
Nothing to lose by anointing Cozart the starter and playing both against RI. We are going to destroy them and thus we will be able to experiment a bit.
If you make the call for Willis I think you lose Cozart's head (and thus the possibility he can be the guy).
If I was DB I'd likely give Cozart the nod but let everyone know behind closed doors that on the field performance matters so Willis is going to get his snaps as well. Best man wins.
