Who are some guys you would like to be considered to replace Coach Kubiak? A couple of names I ran across that would be interesting (but no idea who really would be an ideal candidate here):
Mike Locksley, former Maryland OC - had him at RB spot as well, don't really care what position just listing him because he is looking for a job and a helluva recruiter
Keenan McCardell, former Maryland WR coach - identified Evan Fairs early, can sell his pro career and has some familiarity with the Houston area
Mike Furrey, WR coach at Marshall - guy worked his tail off to make it in the NFL and now coaches a pretty potent WR group at Marshall
Keith Gaither, WR coach at Army - not exactly a hot spot to find a WR coach at Army, but did produce a 100+ catch WR at Ball State named Willie Snead now playing in the NFL
Bill Blankenship, former Tulsa HC - coached all over on the offensive side of the ball before becoming the Tulsa HC, strong Oklahoma ties, visited KU practices last year IIRC and spent some time as an analyst at Memphis as well
Joey McGuire, HC at Cedar Hill HS - might as well mention Beaty's BFF with seven soon to be seniors ranked 5.7 *** or higher
I know there are some better prospects out there and the guys above may not be realistic at all...but am curious what names you guys can come up with...
