INDIVIDUAL NOTES

• Making his Jayhawk debut, Zeke Mayo scored 19 points on 7-of-12 (58.3 percent) shooting, including a 5-for-8 (62.5 percent) clip from beyond the arc. Mayo is one of just four Jayhawks to hit five or more three-pointers in his Kansas debut, joining the club that includes Quentin Grimes, Josh Shelby, and Elijah Johnson.

• KJ Adams was perfect from the field Monday night, going 3-for-3. Monday marked Adams’ 16th time shooting 100% from the field in his career. Adams recorded four boards, three steals, one block, and one steal.

• Hunter Dickinson tied his carer high in steals with three. This is the fifth time in his career and the second time at Kansas that he has accomplished that feat. Dickinson pulled in six rebounds to go along with his 16 points, also blocking two shots.

• Flory Bidunga’s 13 points marked the most in a freshman debut since Gradey Dick scored 23 against Omaha on Nov. 7, 2022. Bidunga also added eight rebounds and blocked two shots.

• With five assists Monday night, Dajuan Harris Jr. now has 681 for his career. Harris is just four assists away from moving into solo position of third on the Kansas career assist list (Cedric Hunter 1984-87, 684). Harris joined the top 10 list in career games played with his 141st game. Harris tied Kirk Hinrich (2000-03) Monday night.
