A few notes that might be interesting to some on here.
I don't know who's idea it was but HCDB said it was the new annual event the night before the first game. Parents sat with their kids and had a nice meal. Entire team and a lot of parents showed up. The team left quickly after dinner but parents were encouraged to stay and network for travel plans and just meeting each other.
It was awesome!
There is a huge culture change. It looks like it will be fun sitting with group. Very happy to meet the new parents and talked with several. The players were very engaged and the big take for me is the size of our guys. Last year was a scramble to put a team on the field but this feels different. Some of those guys are really big!
