Environmentalists have their panties in a wad over this. Cracks me up. They just can't take criticism. They believe you're either 100% with us, or you'r e against us.

I've got news for you folks. There's a lot more truth in that documentary than you believe. The more you bitch and moan, the more people will watch it. Neo-libs, just can't get out of their own way.

All of the writers keep harping on the movie saying overpopulation is the problem. They are either completely missing the point of the movie, or they are intentionally saying this so that people don't see what the movie states as the big problem.

The problem is consumerism and specifically, a total lack of conservation. People just love to waste and create waste. We need a fundamental change in society, if we want to make a difference. This is the point of the movie, NOT overpopulation. We need to drive less, consume less, make less waste and use local products whenever possible. Awareness is the key. Westerners and specifically Americans have no self awareness when it comes to conservation.

I wish the movie had spent more time on that, instead of just bitching, which is really the way it comes off to me.

My belief is the media is ignorant while some of them are deliberately misleading in their statements and the environmentalists are completely misleading with their statements and rants against the movie.
