Just moments ago it was announced wide receivers Tre Parmalee and Steven Sims are suspended for the Texas game due to a violation of team rules.
It is only a one-game suspension and Beaty said the players will have a chance to earn their way back for the TCU game.
There were no details on the reason other than breaking team rules.
This is Beaty’s first year and as he is trying to set the tone and culture. He isn’t going to bend the rules and lay off his message. He really only has once chance to show the players he will stick to the rules he has in place.
Parmalee and Sims are the team’s leading receivers.
Beaty had a very interesting comment on Tuesday at his press conference… “We have a high, high standard here. No one gets away with anything. It does not matter who you are. You do not get away with anything because the standard is such, that that's the way we're going to get there.”
