Even with Perine out, OU has some guys that are ridiculous on offense
There is Dede Westbrook, who is currently 4th in the nation in receiving yards per game. After a slow start where he didn't have more than 70 yards receiving in any of the first three games, he has been on fire since averaging 194 yards receiving per game the last 4 games.
Then there is Joe Mixon who can hurt you in so many ways. He has been the team's leading rusher for 6 of their 7 games and was the teams second leading receiver in 4 of their games. Last week he became the third FBS player within the last 20 years to have over 250 yards rushing and over 100 yards receiving in a game.
And finally there is Baker Mayfield. Averaging over 335 yards passing per game and completing over 71% of his passes, he is a guy that you just hope you can contain.
The improvement on defense has been great this year, but they are going to really be tested to contain all of these weapons. On the flip side, seeing OU's offense being lead by a former walk on transfer QB and a 3 star JUCO WR does give me hope KU can build up their offense...
