For the rest of the general KC sports fan, the team that probably deserves the most support is SKC. Between literally being a team with multiple KC ties and a winning team, it already makes sense before adding in the ownership.
I'm living in Dallas and was going to buy tickets for the game down here to try and get my fill but they weren't available quite yet. I'm thankful for that because I just saw today that SKC will provide tickets to away games for FREE. Requested a few tickets after a short registration. My order was #240, so I assume there will be quite a few down here as there were last year.
Just can't believe how awesome the owners are and how lucky KC folks have it. Taking the team from the Wizards to their current status is amazing. Saw they have 14,000 season ticket holders with 11,000 on a waiting list. I hope one day they are able to buy the Royals because they would win the right way.
