I threw together a proposal for a nearby county that is putting up a 100'x100' steel building with heated floor, a few offices, etc. I got the bid but after they looked at them I was informed I needed a bond to do the project. I've been doing concrete work for aheds, etc, for 11 yrs now, but never really took on this big of a general contracting job to include all the plumbing, carpentry and electrical as well as the concrete and building.

I can only get bonded for $300k but need to be around $600k but no one will do that much due to my "inexperience" in jobs of this size. Any suggestions or advice?
