Would the fan base be up in arms about losing an assistant coach from a program that until this season, has shown little to no improvement in the better part of a decade. The collective hand wringing over losing a WR coach is ridiculous. Coaching staffs change with new hires. I’m all for Lance getting the opportunity to complete his staff the way he wants and not with a bunch of Miles leftovers. We are in a new day with player transfers, but that works both ways. I am of the belief that the future of this program is not going to lie with recruiting Tx high schoolers and as such, Jones‘ role will be less important.
