Dryoungs observations and thoughts continue to be correct. Union and Bixby continue their seemingly domination of 6A-1 in all of Oklahoma. Tulsa Union destroyed Jenks 38-3 tonight. Bixby, in their first year in 6A-1 dropped down in class tonight, and clobbered "never, ever a contender" Sand Springs 6A-2, 67-3. Dryoung, a fan of Broken Arrow should be happy that his Alma Mater had a chance to win on the last play of their game versus Owasso tonight. BA failed on a 2 point conversion as the game ended, and lost to Owasso 27-26. I attended the Union vs Jenks game. It was an intense game, and Union has a db that KU should look at. He's 6' 1", 180 pounds. He had two picks, which one was a pick 6, several break ups, and blocked a field goal attempt. The Union QB was the starter for Jenks last year, and transferred to Union this past Summer. He is incredible, and is a Sophomore! Union defensive line is Huge! They also have a LB that KU should look at...6'2", 220 and made several sacks throughout the game, and disrupted Jenks offense all night. As an fyi, OU is playing Kent State University on Saturday. Kent State stayed in Tulsa this week and practiced and worked out at Union HS. The Kent State HC said that the Union HS facilities are " much better than ours!"
