It was terrifyingly clear all year that we really struggled to score, especially against decent teams. Too often we'd see Frank drive the lane and throw it up against the trees, or see Ellis try and score over length. We work the ball around the perimeter looking for a post entry even though our posts this year weren't offensive guys.

So I'm wondering if/when/why Self will change. A guy like Greene is a good shooter. He went into a slump as teams started targeting him and closing out faster, which led to him short arming a lot of his shots. Wondering why Self doesn't run more actions for guys like Greene (or Svi or whoever) to get them open. OSU runs Forte into the ground having him come off screens. Greene would need to work on conditioning and positioning but why not set a few plays up where Brannen or Wayne or whoever runs off a few screens to get a clean, open look at the basket.

Do we need more pick and roll? We don't really have the guys to play the high-low right now. What needs to change (other than the players) so that we can get an open look.

On another note... Chop doesn't really work anymore. With how much it proliferated and blew up in the last few years, every time we ran it this year, teams defended us really well.
