Our politicians spend millions of dollars convincing the American people that they are "regular people" representing "the common man" but are pathetically elitist bastards who do not perform life's most basic tasks. For those who missed it, Barack Obama was surprised and impressed that he could pay for something with his credit card and sign his name electronically using the credit card machine. You know, like you do at Home Depot, Lowes, Target, Wal-Mart, Old Navy, Express, Dillard's, JC Penny's, Nordstroms, any grocery store in America (or even on the Baja peninsula), Dick's, or any other major retailer.
