1st half: Controlled the tempo of the game and really guarded. What bothered me was the stretch when we had a 12 point lead (30-18) and we turned it over what felt like 5 straight times. We just don't have that killer instinct. We love taking the foot off the gas.
2nd half: Lost control of the game. Mason never really was a factor. Graham was not a factor. We couldn't run anything. We may have had 3-4 post touches the whole half. We didn't attack the pressure to score at the rim. Played soft.
This team doesn't have someone to score consistently with their back to the basket as we know. No panic though, we still need to play inside out. Guards cut off the entry pass, rotate, force help...
With all that being said we are bound to lose 4 games during conference play. I fully expect to lose 2 more. We lost today at a place that bill is now 3-5 at. So no shocker.
