No matter how prepared I thought I was, I just wasn't prepared to deal with this season.

That game last night left me completely disheartened and sapped of any desire to watch anymore games this season. After watching a pretty bad WSU team beat Rutgers, I thought we really had a shot. Then we jumped out to a 10 point lead.

We looked better on defense, but a lot of it was due to Memphis not playing well. Then reality hit. It hit hard. All I could think was, "here we go."

Cozart had a horrible game passing. He couldn't get past the primary receiver all night. The offense could only run the ball, and thank god they could do that, because the Memphis offense looked like they were playing against air in the second half. Who knows what it would be been like had Cozart been able to complete passes to the 2nd and 3rd options.

This was Memphis. I'm not sure how KU will match up with anyone left in the schedule. All Rutgers needs to do is throw jump balls to Carroo and hand off the their physical running backs. I'm not even mentioning Janarian Grant. He's a monster. I'm talking about Rutgers like they're a great team and they got beat by quite possibly the worst team in the West, not in Colorado.

I'm just severly depressed...
