watched from behind the KU bench and I am afraid this team has fallen into a losers mentality. The body language on the sideline the entire first half was horrible. There is no leadership, no players trying to take ownership on the bench. We crap the bed, walk over to the bench and sit. When you are 1-13 for two seasons and getting your ass kicked after two series, someone or a couple of guys need to be in some faces on the bench. Once Memphis got to 19 points, our guys had hands on hips and heads hanging.
The coaching staff was for the most part, just standing there watching Beatty hop and jump and run all over and was never involved.
There was no energy from anyone other than Beatty on the sideline.
My concern now is that Beatty has lost his way and is panicking. The play calling is so bad that it isn't worth going off over it. He was running around like a maniac and it looked from where we sat, like none of the other coaches or the players are hearing him, or want too.
We look like a lost, uninspired and undisciplined team. something has to change.
