I read elsewhere that KU is believed to have the 2nd highest NIL fund. How much of our "salary cap space" do we have available for next year's team?
Dickinson comes off the board, freeing up "cap space"...so what do we have available to spend?
If we have dramatically reduced what is now pledged, and if we are now swimming in available NIL funds, shouldn't we be able to get just about anyone we want to transfer here (since, like the NBA/NFL/MLS free agents, all that matters with most is HOW MUCH?).
What are we paying Peterson? And/or how much is Adidas paying him to come to KU.
Our diminishing "brand" is no longer sufficient to lure the top transfers. The Benjamins rule. And (so far regrettably) the ability to correctly weigh transferring talent.
