My pol friend double checked the info on Harris for me. Disclaimer, this person may be further left than you are. You would be amused at this odd couple’s friendship. We have lively conversations. This person says Harris will have an uphill climb as more of the left wing gets into her background as prosecutor. Issues for them are aggressive pursuit of even nonviolent defendants, unnecessary ethnic pursuit- in their view. Backsliding, in their view, on prison overcrowding and sentencing reform. Specifics on this will be raised by these critics. If the tea party Republicans have a leftist Democrat counterpart, this mix of critics is it. I would doubt she can overcome this. But, who knows. Maybe more later.
