As most on here likely know, Trump incorrectly stated the hurricane was putting Alabama at risk. When pointed out Alabama was not originally at risk, Trump attacked the network that said it, and claimed he was right saying the original track included Alabama. The NWS had to issue a report saying AL was not in the projected impact zone.
Fast forward to today. The Bahamas have been devastated, Florida is receiving the outer bands of the hurricane, and new projections show places like South Carolina and North Carolina potentially receiving a direct hit. If anyone has been to the barrier islands, Charleston, or the coastal/lowland areas of those states, you know how dangerous a storm like this can be.
But what does our fearless leader do? He shows the original hurricane track that is extremely old and irrelevant at this point, and hand draws in marker an extended bubble/cyst on the projection so it shows Alabama as potentially being hit. Why? Presumably so he can pretend to be right.
So not only is he making up history to pretend to be right, but he's doing it when other parts of the country are actually currently at risk.
Unreal.
