JK posted information below on the football board.
--------------
Okay the new Rivals app just came out about two hours and went live on the Android store. Go to Google Play and search Rivals. It is a few apps down the page and has a Blue R.
When you download it, it should take you to the Kansas site after you login. If it doesn't then you can choose your team. There will be three lines at the left hand corner and there will be three choices:
Teams
Notifications
Settings
In the settings you can choose to receive push notifications. So when big stories or stories we feel relevant come out we will push them to you. You will receive the notifications within seconds.
This product came out earlier than we expected. They initially told us they will work on the app after signing day with so much going on with site re-design.
Now...for I-phone users the developers have submitted something to Apple. I know from past experiences it takes Apple sometimes a week and longer to put it in their store. They are hoping for next week. But will play it by ear and keep everyone posted. Apple is always behind Android with app approval.
This is also not even close to the finished product. They will tweak and have updates until they feel they have it right.
