I've been a student at KU for six years and am graduating this May. Whenever I go to games my form of tailgating has always been to drink at a friends house and walk to the stadium. Well since this is my last game to attend as a student, my friends and I are deciding to try and go "all-out" and have an actual tailgate.

So I need some advice if anybody is wiling to give me any.
1) We have a decent sized group (approx 15). Where would you recommend we try and set up? Cash lot or park in people's yard across the road?
2) What time does tailgating usually start for 3pm games? And when is the earliest you can generally start tailgating?
3) My group is mainly college aged fans so we will be loud and rowdy. Is it better to be across the road or in the cash lots?

Thanks in advance for any input. We are just trying to find a decent place without causing many problems for other fans. I'm trying my best to get as many of my KU friends there! Unfortunately we got a few grapes with us, but they were coming no matter what. Maybe I can get them drunk enough to pass out before the game haha!
