What should it be? What are the effects of a national increase? I look around at all of the businesses that are opening that have "entry level" jobs such as restaurants and retail. If these jobs diminish I think the biggest losers will be high school and college students. Others that get hurt will be those that need to supplement their incomes. At the present time in this country we are not growing enough jobs so why take actions that will diminish the amounts of present jobs? My other issue is that there is no way to set a national level that is good for all. The minimum should be one that protects abuse, not legislates a life style. IMO anything action that diminishes jobs for students at all levels is bad action.
