Leach makes some interesting points in this article that basically says accuracy is something that can't be improved for the most part and is the most important thing to consider when recruiting a QB.
I think he is right to an extent there. I agree with him that accuracy isn't as easy to fix as some think (ask the Jets what they think about Christian Hackenburg right now). But at the college level, I am not sure accuracy is always as important depending on what offense a team is running. For an offense like his, I think it is important, but for a team like Auburn I don't think it is as important. If a team needs a QB that can run for it's offense, that might be more important than accuracy as Leach also mentions short stuff is something that can be improved upon (and good enough for some offenses), so in the case of those offenses short passes can compliment the running part.
The homer side of me felt pretty good, though, as I am pretty sure all of Willis, Cozart, Stanley, and Starks completed better than 60% (think might even be better than 65% for most of them) of their passes in HS, so there is some hint these guys can be accurate.
