QB McComb, class 2025 and a KU commit, has 3 things going for him that should equate into a very special player.
(1) He throws with great accuracy when on the run. Flush him from the pocket and he still can execute to make a play, hitting a receiver in stride.
(2) He can run. And run with speed and purpose. And not to just get out of bounds and to protect the body. Lamar Jackson and Buffalo Bill's QB comes to mind.
(3) He has the size at 6'3" and well over 200 pounds to to be at the top of his game. His physical strength allows him to throw deep, take hits, and stand tall in the pocket.
