Machia Long will visit this weekend he just informed me. He has always planned to visit Lawrence.

Last week Long informed someone inside the Rivals network that he was ready to make his decision. The feeling was he might be leaning to Houston and if there was an educated guess that's where some thought he might pick.

But the backed off that and decided to wait. Now he has scheduled his visit to Kansas. My assumption without getting this from Long is the Kansas coaches asked him to at least visit before he makes his decision.
