2023 NCAA TOURNAMENT BRACKETOLOGY

Will the Kansas Jayhawks become the first repeat champions in men's college basketball since Florida in 2006 and 2007? That's among the questions to consider in the offseason prelude to the 2022-23 season, with the countdown on following a frenzy of transfer movement and the usual spate of NBA draft decisions. Division I's 350-plus teams can now consider the march to the 2023 NCAA tournament, a journey that will end at Houston's NRG Stadium for the Final Four on April 1 and 3. ESPN will be there every step of the way with its 2023 bracket projections, evaluating the current state of the bubble and identifying the top seeds for the game's showcase event.

Players are practicing. The regular season is less than five weeks away. It's just about time to put away the golf clubs and start scouting teams in person. Even better, as of this writing, there are no pandemic-related restrictions on attendance or travel. We are "full speed ahead" on what promises to be a most compelling season. We'll rank every team 1-363 in early November. In the meantime, this is the final bracket based on our off-season algorithm. If you don't like it, game results and real arguments are right around the corner. And, if you think the golf clubs should already be in the garage, I just shot my personal best. So there...
