will be daunting but I happen to think we will be fine. Seems most are confident we can beat Baylor because it is at home but hate the quick turn around to play at WVU. I think we know baylor pretty well, we know exactly how they will defend, we know they will try to press us a bit to create t/o and we already know how we will play against their zone. Get the ball in the middle and the short corners and hit your 3's which we have been outstanding at and most importantly blockout gathers on the glass. Baylor is a easy team to prepare for because their are only a couple things that can really get them going. 1) be clear on how you want to defend the ball screens for chery 2) crash the glass and blockout gathers and 3) attack the middle of the zone and the short corners. If you do those things against baylor you beat them 99.9% of the time this year because they really dont have anything else.
With the simple ready made game plan against baylor in place I think coach can focus some of the practices on how we will beat pressure defense. I think we get more work in on how to play against it than people are realizing.
