For many years, there has been a website out there (I think put up by an Iowa State alum and fan) where you can fill in who will win the rest of the games in the Big 12 for the year and then generate a tournament bracket. The website purports to follow the league's tie-breaking procedures. Since I don't want to figure those out, I always do a mock bracket at about this time of the season to see what's on tap in the tourney.

For today's purposes, I went with the KenPom percentages for each of the remaining games. The projected winners (in bold) for the rest of the games:

Midweek games: OU at Iowa State, West Virginia at KU, Baylor at Texas, TCU at Okla. St.

Weekend games: K-State at Texas, KU at OU, Okla. St. at West Virginia, Texas Tech at Baylor, Iowa State at TCU.

If the games all turned out that way (and I know that won't happen), here would be the tournament line-up:

Wednesday: #8 K-State v. #9 TCU, #7 Texas v. #10 Texas Tech.

Thursday: #4 Baylor v. #5 West Virginia, #1 Kansas v. K-State/TCU winner, #2 Iowa State vs. Texas/Texas Tech winner, #3 OU vs. #6 Okla. St.

Friday: Baylor/W. Va. winner v. KU/(K-State/TCU) winner, Iowa St./(Texas/Texas Tech) winner v. OU/Okla. St. winner.

I would be delighted with this bracket since that would allow us to play K-State. That would be a fun tournament game.
