After the call on Banks that took away a TD, I watched a game later that afternoon or evening and a similar play leading to a similar holding call occurred. Announcers couldn't believe the call. I have seen this several times in the past few weeks where an OLine puts a defensive player on the ground and gets called for holding although no holding is apparent on the replay. Every time the announcers go nuts over the call but it still happens. Is there a new emphasis that says anytime a defensive player ends up on the ground that it is automatically assumed to be a holding?
