I was on a long drive with my 37 year old daughter this weekend and played her the soundtrack from HAIR. She had trouble believing that the soundtrack ever got published and at some of the named stars that were in the movie. Then my wife chipped in and talked about how the dress code was at the sorority houses when skirts and dresses were mandatory and the advent of the grunge look on campus. As a student in the 60's I was on the GI Bill and was angry those that would dare try to keep me out of the library while wearing bastardized military clothing. We've come a long way as far as now honoring the flag and those that served and are serving.
