One thing that jumped out to me right away was the absence of Jackson Dillon from their participation list last week. He was their tall hybrid LB/DE that had a pretty solid game against us last year. He had two offseason knee injuries and many question if he were to play this season how effective he would be, so he doesn't look like he will be a factor to consider in this game. However his replace DeMarco Montgomery will be one to keep an eye on. Had a sack against us last year and a sack in their only game so far this year.

Shareef White will be a guy to keep an eye on - he had a good game against us as well last year, so another guy to keep an eye on. The guy I might be most worried about is their returning NT Donald Pennington. Had 1.5 sacks against us last year and started all of last year.

Then there are a bunch of experienced guys that we will see often this week. JK mentioned Genard Avery as a guy you want leading your team off the bus - at 255 lbs that makes sense, also noting he had a solid first game against SEMO. There are a trio of senior DBs that started some games last year in Chauncey Lanier, Chris Morley, and Arthur Maulet that have made some plays.

In general that's probably the biggest thing I noticed about their defense - wouldn't say this group is a bunch of world beaters and impossible to get yards on, but there are a veterans returning with starting experience. Going to have to play smart against these guys
