Does this remind anyone else of the 2008 game vs South Florida?
After the Orange Bowl, it seemed the table was set in 2008 with Todd et al returning. Then we lost a close game on the road at USF.
The Illinois game left me with that same sinking feeling (minus me being drunk and trying to talk to DayDev at game).
For real old-timers like myself it also reminded me of the 82 WSU loss coming after the 81 Hall of Fame Bowl.
As in 24, we had our star QB returning (Seuer in 82 and Todd in 08).
Maybe the fb gods just hate us.
