I recently bought an older pick-up that is in need of a paint job. It was originally a 'red', but on the orange side (not too unlike the 'red' jerseys of the Orange Bowl).
Since I am writing this, you can probably surmise that I am not a fan of that color.
The official KU crimson is PMS 186. Has anybody actually seen a car in that exact shade? The truck is just for fun, so it won't exactly be competing in car shows, but at the same time I don't want to spend a few thousand on something that will look clownish.
