To a degree, all the kids control their own fate. However, I think there are a few kids that can either just be around and be ok or can completely buy in and be an all league performer.

Kyron Watson is probably the leader of the pack here. I'm excited to see what he's done this summer with his dedication. The LB spot is so thin (depth and physique of guys) that it's a place he can get a lot of reps this season and then next season be a headliner.

Greg Allen could win a lot of races. The issue for him is playaction = big play other team. He got sloppy from the looks of it too often and would not tackle well or get lost. Physically, this kid is all you want and more.

Joey Bloomfield's weight has been discussed a few times here. I don't think that's the issue, it's his flexibility and ability to keep his butt down and use his hands. The right tackle spot has a chance to be a hell of a position battle. I'm putting Rhodes in with Bloomfield b/c he's also a candidate for the same spot as Bloomfield. Both are sophomores and it would be great to see someone step up here b/c I think they are completely different players but both could be a long term answer at right tackle and would end up earning some recognition in the process.
