The last part of my thread title is strictly meant for our beloved neighbors to the west that scan our board. Yes, SDSU is not NDSU but they did lose to them by only three points last year. They are a solid FCS team that was ranked preseason; I think around 15th. Their coach has been there for a long stretch and is solid. I lived in SD for a number of years and they know how to hit you in the mouth.
No, in a few seasons we don't want to have this happen but we all knew this is going to be a development year with lumps taken. Don't be like the fans near me that cleared out early in the second quarter. To their ever so slight credit, a few did return when things got closer. I have difficulty with people bailing in the first game of the season, Keep supporting the team, players, and coaches. See you at the Memphis game next Saturday. Rock Chalk!
