Don't buy into the media's narrative that WSU wants this game more than KU. This game is big for Kansas as well. For one, a spot in the Sweet 16 awaits. Secondly, I really believe Self would love nothing more than to end the "KU ducking WSU" talk but, this is more about advancing on to Cleveland than any personal agenda Self may have.

Keep in mind that these type games, and the hype they carry, are just the games Self lives for and more times than not KU quiets the nay sayers.

Don't for one minute believe that the KU players aren't just as tired of all "ducking" talk. This game is big to them as well. I'll bet Self has them well prepared and focused. These kids feel the vibe. They understand what's at stake. Survive and advance it's just we have a small dog pecker gnat to squash on our way to Cleveland.

Marshall is nervous. Have you noted all the back tracking he's doing through the media? Sounds like a guy who likes to flap his gums when he thinks there will be no price to pay. Well, the committee set it up. Time to put your money where your mouth is.

It's going to be a great day!!

Rock Chalk Jayhawks!! GO KU!
