All Area Dallas Morning News first team WR. They pick 24 players that they rate as having the best seasons in the whole DFW area, and Keegan Brewer was first team WR! To put this in perspective there is an OL from Arlington Lamar headed to Alabama and he was on the second team. And Shane Buchele the QB from Arlington headed to Texas didn't even make the second team. So that is quite an honor for Brewer to get on that list as first team. They list Keegan as 5'11" and 170 pounds and heading to Kansas. This kid must really be a football player. Hard to call him a diamond in the rough when you make First Team all DFW area. There are hundreds and hundreds of good players that don't make that list.
One thing I noticed is it unfortunately looks like Texas Tech is having a really good recruiting year, and Ole Miss has made some pretty big in roads into DFW recruiting which really sucks. They seem to be pulling top players out of the Metro consistently now. Don't know where Tech is ranked nationally in recruiting but I see them listed with a bunch of top notch players in DFW.
