at a variety of levels keep society cloistered in their homes, keep small business closed, keep people losing money, in salaries and investments, etc. before people say the hell with it and go back to work in thier small stores and shops etc? Each passing day people slip further into a financial hole. We have, in many ways, and inactive congress whose members are not having to suffer. IMO sooner rather than later impatience and uncertainy will start to cause problems.
