Is still raging and getting worse. Unlike COVID, once we pass the point of no return on climate change, we don't develop an immunity to it. It doesn't 'run its course'.

COVID Arguments = CC Arguments

It's just a flu = the climate always changes
We don't want to harm the economy = We don't want to harm the economy
Don't act until we see if its a problem = Don't act until we see if its a problem
It's a problem abroad, not here. = We have several years to act
We shouldn't disrupt our daily lives = We can do simple things in the coming years to solve it.
We should just quarantine vulnerable populations = Let's not act unless China/India do

Much like COVID, it's just going to get worse and the impacts are going to be exponentially worse. Hopefully COVID provides a wake up call for the need to act quickly when experts say, 'we need to act quickly,' but I know we'll go back to dithering and in the process destroy lives, our environment, our economy, etc.

New studies are showing the Great Barrier Reef is currently suffering the worst bleaching event in its history.
