Kilgore CB will visit this weekend
The Jayhawks have been recruiting him for some time.
"I first got with them (Kansas) through coach Perry," Defense said. "I was having a pretty good season so there have been a lot of coaches come through here. Coach Perry is a cool dude and I really like him. He is a great person and we get along pretty well. He has already been teaching me a lot are ready. He has taught me a lot about the game on and off the field. I really like him."
Defense signed with Kilgore out of Atlantic Coast HS in Jacksonville, FL where he had offers from East Carolina, Louisville, and Georgia Southern.
At 6-foot tall the Kansas coaches said they like his length and cover ability.
"He said I’m along corner with long arms," Defense said of Perry. "He said I can jump and have a good nose for the ball. He said he likes the way I play press coverage."
He has offers from Kansas, Utah, New Mexico State, Central Florida, and Cincinnati.
He is a mid-year graduate and plans to take a few visits before deciding.
