Froze out. Happens in every White House. Bolton is, uh, an interesting character to say the least. He’ll be back on Fox News in a short time.

I really do not care one way or another on Bolton, I know he always talked like War Monger before he got in the White House and probably pushed his agenda too hard. I think probably might be best he is gone, we can not police the whole world, I think that is what Trump believes

    YES YES YES

I was given shit for wanting him to die because he was responsible for 1 million murdered Iraqi's and has an eternal hardon and bloodlust for death, destruction and chaos. I still stand by that. If only someone would've taken out Kissinger there would have been two less genocides in the (never taught in public school) history books.

If he's removed from power then I won't give a flying fvck what he does or what happens to him.

The important thing is we no longer have a psychopath advising a sociopath in the White House.

He would be best described as Chaotic Lawful in D&D terms. The man had a perpetual hardon for starting wars but is one of the few that was in government before and knows what you can and can't do.

Good god, you know it's bad when Bolton is saying he wanted no part of you and someone else's (Ghouliani and Mulvaney in this case) drug deal, or saying you (Ghouliani) are a hand grenade ready to blow others up.

The consensus is Bolton was the behind the leaks. And now some are saying its possible he may be some star witness lol (doubt it, we'll see though).

I even heard a rumor that Bolton could end up being the John Dean that brings Trump down, ala Nixon. Can’t find any substantive backup for that one.

Who knows. Maddow said every night Mueller was going to come bring the hammer down. I want it to be true only because of the irony. This board knows my feelings about Bolton.

Would you kiss Boltons ass and give him a reach around if he was able to take down Trump?

Bolton will testify but only when served a subpoeona which hasn't happend yet.

His lawyer just said that Bolton has new details about Ukraine that congress don't know about it.

This is a good thing, right? Bringing everyone together that has facts about what happened so we can get to the bottom it and exonerate or impeach, right? Right??

Yep, let's get everybody to testify. Bolton, the second hand whistleblower, the source of the whistleblower, Hunter Biden, Joe Biden and Schiff.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Bolton said he'd only testify if the court states he has to (his associate has filed in court).

Just read up a little more.

Bolton won't testify until a court weighs in. He wants the House to subpoena him so he can challenge it in court and get a ruling. I'm not sure what his angle is, but the House has more than enough evidence to convict Trump in a normal political environment, so I don't know if there's any value to forcing Bolton to testify. A court proceeding will take months, and in the interim other witnesses may refuse to testify until the court rules meaning the impeachment grinds to a halt. However the court rules it will likely be appealed and take many more months, potentially stretching beyond 2020.

The House has what it needs - multiple witnesses stating the quid pro quo was called for by Trump, even though a quid pro quo isn't needed - so they might as well have those people state it publicly, approve impeachment charges, and send it to the Senate to abdicate their responsibility and dismiss the hearing.

perjury is a real bitch. One guy already tried it and then thought better of it.

I doubt any of these guys want to cross their boss, but when push comes to shove I doubt prison seems like a good place to go.

As I said several threads ago, I was told by someone I trust that Bolton might be the John Dean Trump POTUS killer witness. Told that person to give me another credible source. Haven’t heard further. We shall see.

I read that RM, but I just don't believe it and didn't feel I had much to contribute by stating that.

I of course would like for that to be true, actually, would like to just know what really happened above all else.

That's just it. Does anyone actually believe that if Bolton came out and said, "I have a memo signed by Trump that states he wants to withhold Ukrainian aid until Ukraine investigates the Bidens so it can help Trump's reelection campaign in 2020" that anyone in the GOP would change their tune? We've seen how fast they've backpedaled in the past 2 weeks.

They have stopped moving the goal posts and instead removed them from the field.

I appreciate the watergate comparisons, but we aren't in watergate where there wasn't a party apparatus in the press (i.e. Fox) and the GOP wasn't completely unprincipled. If this were watergate, we'd already be in the Senate trial or it would be bipartisan, legitimate questioning of witnesses. But it's not.

So explain how Trump was pissed the depositions were in private, and now is pissed the questioning will be public? He's not complaining they are taking place in those comments, but instead that they are private, and then public.

The only thing that has happended so far is that now most Americans know what quid and pro are supposed to be. Of course we could take the quid pro quo out of politics altogether and just go bomb the shit out of everybody. Or maybe just bring back the Monroe Doctrine

All foreign aid is quid pro quo.
