The KU coaches have been looking at Hakeem Adeniji for some time.
But Adeniji signed with Air Force and sources told me he wanted to follow in his brothers footsteps who played at Air Force. His brother, Moshad, was an OL there and liked the experience.
However something transpired and Adeniji got out of his signing with Air Force. The word is SMU and Houston were also pursuing him to enroll on campus. Adeniji is currently 6-foot-4, 265 pounds. One person familiar with his game told me he is very athletic and strong.
He was a first team, all district selection at Garland last season at left tackle.
I believe Adeniji has attended a recent class at Kansas and started his official time as a student/athlete.
This would be a very solid pick-up this late in the game.
